October 21 - The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) have unveiled the five shortlisted contenders for the best team category at 2011 Paralympic Sport Awards, with the winner's trophy set be presented by the IPC's international partner Allianz in December.
US names sledge hockey squad for Vancouver
December 15 - USA Hockey today announced its squad for the 2010 Paralympic sledge hockey event for next year's Games in Vancouver, where they will start as the favourites for the gold medal.
Paul Blake's father played Greedo in the Oscar-winning film Star Wars but his real hero is David Rudisha, Kenya's world 800 metres record holder, who he hopes will inspire him to glory at London 2012, as Katy Anderson reports
